Flying Cars No Longer Dream

NEWYORK - new American company Terrafugia will produce versatile car that can fly . It can be operated on the highway , the vehicle can also be turned into an aircraft to avoid congestion on the streets . But in Slovakia, a designer successfully tested a prototype of a flying car recently .
Stefan Klein , the creator of this car is one Aeromobil founder and chief mechanic at the company . According to the discovery ( 21/10 ) , previously , Stefan worked on the giant automaker such as Audi , BMW and Volkswagen . He began to develop the first Aeromobil in the early 1990s and this fall Aeromobil 2.5 prototype successfully tested .
" In the future we only need a few seconds to go driving and flying out of the airport , " he said .
Meanwhile, Terrafugia vehicles from the U.S., called Transition , has wings that can be folded and if the runway is long enough then it can turn into airplanes . This mode will be commercially available within the next two years .
" The benefits to humanity flying car is very big , " says Terrafugia CEO Carl Dietrich .

The car uses the same engine for the street or the air , and can use gasoline fuel than aircraft that are much more expensive .
