THIS is the fastest bike on earth today. Speeds up to 133.78 miles per hour! Speed was obtained not by machine, but pedal.
VeloX3 named the fastest bike is the result of finding a team of students from Delft University of Technology and the VU University Amsterdam. Quoting the official website of Human Power Team Delft & Amsterdam, the bike was designed as a form of three-dimensional capsules.
Cyclist pedals inside the lying position (laying down). "The design has a wind resistance up to a tenth of a regular bike," said Wouter Lion, the team manager.
Work on the surface of "capsule" technology utilizing a standard coating with Formula 1 from Akzo Nobel. It makes a lower wind resistance.
Sebastiaan Bowier was able to ride my bike up to speed of 133.78 miles per hour, over 0.6 miles per hour faster than the previous record held by Sam Whittingham of Canada. Speed was measured within 200 meters after the bike sped along the 8 kilometers on a straight road desert region of Nevada, United States. (aga/c10)
