Gayo Lues - Vice Governor of Aceh Muzakir Manaf or often called Mualem racetrack is scheduled to open tournament in Gayo Lues, around 10:00 pm on Saturday, August 31, 2013.
The tournament was held in order to enliven HUT RI 68 and centered on the Racecourse Stadium Buntul Nege, Blangkejeren. Horse racing tournament is a cultural tradition in Gayo Lues held almost every year.
This year, some districts such as Central Aceh and Bener Meriah enliven the traditional horse racing during the week.
At least 85 horses were included in a traditional horse race in the Gayo Lues, Saturday, August 31, 2013. The tournament was held in order to enliven the Anniversary of RI to 68, followed by the three counties in the Central Highlands.
To 85 horses were included, 25 of which came from Bener Meriah, 25, of Central Aceh, and the rest of Gayo Lues. Traditional horse race is held every year and is able to lure foreign tourists to visit the Central Highlands
