Iran warns U.S. attack on Syrian Problem

BEIRUT - Iran warned the U.S. and its allies that the US-led military attack on Syria would engulf the entire region . Also threaten the interests of America and Israel .
The latest warning by the head of the Parliamentary Committee for Iran's national security and foreign policy , Alaeddin Boroujerdi after a series of stern warnings issued by Iranian and Russian officials on the possibility of Western military attack on Syria's Assad regime to punish the alleged use of chemical weapons .
" We think that the restraint shown so far by the U.S. President Barack Obama , merely serve the interests of America on the one hand , and the security interests of the Zionist entity on the other hand , because every political miscalculation in this case negative could backfire on the situation in the region as a whole , " said Boroujerdi as reported dailystar ( 3/9 ) .
Iranian officials arrived in Beirut Monday from Damascus to make a brief visit to the Lebanese officials to discuss the conflict in Syria and discusses the impact on Lebanon .
Boroujerdi , who issued a similar warning a day earlier during a trip to Syria where he met with President Bashar Assad , also said the U.S. Congress should be subject to the will of the American people and take the right decision to halt U.S. military approach towards Syria .
" We think that the American public is sensitive to this and oppose any military aggression against Syria since the U.S. failed military experience in Iraq and Afghanistan , " he continued .
Boroujerdi said his talks with Assad focused on three main issues , defense issues and resistance in Syria as the main pillar of the resistance axis . Iranian power and absolute opposition to any foreign military action against Syria , and his criticism of the use of chemical weapons . Because this is a grave danger to the world and regional peace .
" During my visit to Damascus , normal daily life , moral Syrian officials , including Assad's too high , " he continued .
Iran also reiterated Iran's support for Syria , describing it as Tehran's main Arab ally and a key pillar of the resistance axis in the region . " As we all know the Islamic Republic of Iran has always insisted stance supporting national unity and sovereignty , calm and stability in the country brotherhood because we think that it is serving the security and regional stability , " he concluded .
